The media’s influence on young people today makes growing up far more challenging. Judgemental social media promotes ideas of perfection, instilling ideas of inadequacy and causing anxiety in young people through no fault of their own. This new centre will allow YPCS to help even more individuals. It provides a safe place for young people to talk, and realise that they are not alone."

Counselling

The Annabelle Davis Centre features two comfortable counselling rooms that have been designed to make young people feel welcome whilst maintaining their confidentiality.

Play Therapy

Our Play Therapy room features full size dry and wet sand trays, a wide selection of miniatures, puppets, construction toys (such as Lego), art materials, doll houses and musical instruments.

Facilities

Family members are welcome to use our waiting area whilst a young person is in their session. Tea and coffee making facilities are available, plus books and fiddle toys. We also have a stunning sensory garden that can be enjoyed by families between sessions.
