Volunteers are vital to what we do. You can help The Young People’s Counselling Service in many ways big or small, short term or long term. From cake sales to fire walks, we have a range of opportunities for those who can spare their time for young people.
Are you up for a challenge such as sky diving, fire walks or an assault course? Are you a baker, cookie maker or a pizza party organiser who could use their talents? There are many fun and creative ways to get involved with raising money to help support young people.
Our volunteers have assisted at events such as Yaxley Festival, Course Havoc and Charters Summer Sundays. We can always use a hand with running stalls, bucket shakes to collect donations and distributing/collecting our yellow charity pots from local businesses.
Following, liking and sharing our social media pages is an easy way to support us. You can also select us as your chosen charity on Amazon Smile and Easy Fundraising, which allows us to earn donations from retailers at no extra cost to you.
Do you have a specialist skill? We would welcome assistance from those with experience in HR, legal, sales, websites, IT, book keeping or marketing. To be a mentor we can turn to and learn from would be an incredible benefit to the charity.
